We have again invited Dave Watson, one of the UK's leading bushcraft trainers to provide another bushcraft sharp tools training day for those enthusiasts in the South West that can't get out to visit Dave's Leicestershire base.
"Bushcraft is a 'working with' philosophy" - Dave Watson
Dave has been teaching bushcraft professionally since 1995 and is one of the most experienced trainers in England and has mentored and worked alongside many professionals in the field.
Our Bushcraft Sharp Tools Training Day is a hands-on exploration of the essential skills required to train and supervise others in the use of bushcraft tools. At the same time it provides multiple bushcraft woodworking projects for you to undertake with your students.
This one day event is for anyone wanting to gain competence and additional understanding in the use of cutting tools with a view to passing on basic skills to others.
The course will focus on techniques to safely develop skills and confidence in working with bushcraft knives and saws. At the same time the course will look at the application of safety and the continuous risk management of the working environment.
