Welcome back from a busy summer

Welcome back everyone from the Summer break - I have certainly been busy over the last few weeks. We had young people undertaking gold residentials at two of our Centres - The Roseland delivered Canoeing and Sailing along with some volunteering with the National Trust Ranger over at Treliske and Phillieigh Fayre. I also helped with the GO WILD residential at Carnyorth which proved very popular and adventurous.

Gorge walking and Climbing Day with the Delaware Centre

We think we've found the perfect day out. Get into a wetsuit, put on a buoyancy aid and don a big helmet. What next... well let's try and walk up that river; waterfalls and all. The Delaware Centre and Cornwall Accessible Activities Programme (CAAP) worked together to give it a go with some willing students this August, deep in the heart of Dartmoor where the rivers run rapid, Gorge-walking is where all the fun is.

Hayle Open Award Centre hold DofE Presentation Evening to Celebrate success

Hayle Open Award Centre held their first official Award presentation night on 7th May, 2014 at Hayle Youth Centre. County Councillor John Pollard (Leader of Cornwall Council) presented 8 bronze awards to young people who had achieved a variety of volunteering, skills and physical activities.
