All of our activities are available as non-residential activity days for your school or group. We can recommend and arrange meetings at any venue across the county, or you can come straight to our own Activity Centres. We will arrange to meet you and your group with the staff and equipment necessary to guide you through the day.

As an organisation we provide just about every outdoor activity possible from Abseiling to Zip-lines. We can combine activities to get the experience just right, and we can link with your curriculum to provide bespoke learning outcomes for your students. Learning outside the classroom (LOTC) doesn't have to mean leaving the school grounds. Cornwall Outdoors has a number of educational and exciting activities to bring to your school to complement your LOTC programme.
We can deliver a range classic outdoor education sessions like; Shelter Building, Problem Solving, Orienteering, Bushcraft and Archery. Please note that Archery will require have a safe field or sports area area to operate, where we can set up our safety net with a clear space beyond.
This is a practical session looking at the design and construction of emergency or temporary shelters. Pupils will look at shape, size and proportion and will build a variety of different shelters using different materials. Students then have the opportunity to evaluate their construction before moving on to make another style of shelter.

Full day - Members £275 per class (£330 non-members)
Half day - Members £150 per class (£180 non-members)
Through a range of scenarios you can explore different situations that can only be solved through effective team work and communication. In a practical, innovative and enjoyable style the activity can be designed to suit your needs. A variety of challenges and team-working scenarios are available to suit physical ability and location.
Using a range of orienteering courses students will be introduced to navigational skills through the use of maps and compasses. The course can be used in school or the local area and gives students the basic skills needed to navigate along with developing team building skills and effective communication.
A fantastic and varied subject that is a real hands-on for everyone involved. Our Cornwall Outdoors mobile team can provide sharp-tools, fire-lighting and water-filtering sessions. Choose one subject or combine your favourite bushcraft activities to get your students inspired with the outdoors.
Fancy a session of the ancient art of archery? our instructors can come to your school or suitable venue and set up our mobile archery range. Along with the necessary safety and we can teach you the skills you will need and also introduce games and curriculum challenges. How about booking this for a sports day, an open day or a community event?
For the ultimate in mobile excitement you could book our mobile climbing tower. It standing an impressive 6.7m high and will fit onto any playground (hard standing) with vehicular access. The climbing tower has a good number of varied ability climbing routes to test your students skill.
