This is a wholly water-based journey that involves a day of exploration along parts of the beautiful River Fal and the Truro River.
This is a tide dependent journey, which itself is an education for some. We embark from Boscawen Park in our rafted canoes at the highest state of the tide. On this first stage of the trip we follow the Truro River passing sites of naval battles and ancient literary ferry passages. The first part of the journey complete, we approach the confluence of the River Fal.
The River Fal flows through a stunning oak bounded valley, home to places of espionage, free-trading and movie-sets. The journey ends when we reach the sea at Loe Beach.
This enlightening walk and canoe journey is deemed to be suitable for children from Year 4 (8-9 years) and upwards.
