Art Course

At Carnyorth and Roseland Outdoor Education Centres

Come to Carnyorth and Roseland and let your class have a chance to do art, with a professional artist. Take your children out in the environment armed with sketch books and pencils to gather first hand information.

During the 2 day / 1 night stay the children’s observational drawings will be used back at the centre to stimulate and develop ideas and to experiment with a range of materials.

We can design a bespoke programme for each school, designed around your needs, and encompassing various curriculum links.

The varied and interesting landscapes around the centres make these locations ideal as a starting point for exploration of the natural environment. Near Carnyorth there is a wealth of tin mining ruins set against a dramatic coast and at Roseland there is the beautiful Fal estuary, with its stunning creeks and outstanding landscape.

Both centres have common rooms, are centrally heated, and are ideal for this type of activity. For this special art residential. Full catering will be provided.
