Time is moving us ever closer to our favourite part of the year, our winter instructor training course. This week is our profile on the Climbing Wall Instructor.
This Mountain Training award allows you to work as an instructor in any climbing wall in the UK. With indoor climbing making the Olympics in 2020, and new climbing walls appearing all over the country, this is a growing industry.
As part of our ambition is to get you qualified in this sport we will be regularly visiting: The Barn Climbing Centre, Quay Climbing Centre, Dart Rock, Plymouth High Sports and this latest local indoor venue 'The Climbing Hanger'. A purpose built indoor bouldering venue.

Three months to go and a little about what's to come your way ...
Profile on Hill and Moorland leader, with expedition skills module.
We're going to be out in the thick of it, living well and visiting some wonderfully remote places including Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Brecon Beacons.
We need to get you twenty quality mountain and moorland walks plus at least eight wild and remote camps so we will be out in all weathers, and that's just for the training element. It's going to be a winter to remember.
